Written and recited by Hasan Al-Akraa, a refugee who once called Malaysia home, this piece was screened at the Invisible People Documentary premiere and exhibition held on 25–26 June 2025 at Sunway University, one of Malaysia's and South East Asia's top private universities.
His words remind us of the ache of displacement and the deep human need to belong.
